Heritage Farm Place is located on beautiful South Whidbey Island, accessible by a short ferry ride from Mukilteo or from the North via the scenic route through Deception Pass.

Escape to peaceful Whidbey Island for a week as you leave behind the busy schedules and demands of your life. Step back in time and stay for a while in a beautifully restored farm house with your friends and family. Allow time to sit on the deck and read a book, cook in a farm kitchen, and sleep in one of three bedrooms, all equipped with comfortable beds.  (Six individual beds, plus a queen size hide-a-bed.)

If it is excitement you are looking for, schedule your time of arrival with the many activities of the area:  Island County Fair, Langley Mystery Week-ends, Greenbank Loganberry Festival, or Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival.  Close to golf courses, and fishing areas.  Many beautiful woodland trails, and within easy driving distance to South Whidbey State Park, Fort Casey State Park, Port Townsend (via the Keystone Ferry) or Deception Pass State Park. Fishing, crabbing and clam digging are all part of the activities that the locals enjoy.  Beachcombing and watching the gorgeous sunsets are a never to be forgotten experience. Visit the local farmer’s markets or antique stores.

Maybe it is a fun week away with friends you are longing for:  bring your friends for a craft week, a quilting week, friends or family reunion week, or a scrap booking week.  Or come a week just to kick back and relax and recharge at a slower pace.  You decide the schedule, and you determine the activities. You can cook your meals in, or eat out at one of the many restaurants in the area, many within 15 minutes from the farm house.  If you are looking for something quick, Dairy Queen is the only fast food south of Oak Harbor.

The farmhouse includes three (3) available bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, separate sun room,  large farm kitchen, pantry with deep sink for cleaning seafood or vegetables, and large attached back yard patio.  Also available is an outside barbecue pit area with informal seating for eating. There is a large yard with lots of parking space available.  The back yard has two large shade trees for the lazy days of summer.

While sitting on the deck you will enjoy the many deer that graze the fields, and often see eagles soaring above.  Rabbits consider this there home also, and are always hopping through the yard. If you have children, bring their riding toys (trikes, bikes, etc.,) as there is ample room to ride in the yard and on the long driveway, or even on the many country roads.
